Scope note
Shooting toys, originally consisting of a tube made from hollowed elder branches or wood used to shoot elderberries, wads of paper, or cork powered by a sudden exhalation of breath. PVC, copper, or other materials may be used for the tube. For weapons using the same method of propulsion, use 'blowpipes.'
