Cloaks worn by the Aboriginal people of certain areas of Australia, made from the skins of Australian possums (members of Phalangeriformes), sometimes together with other small pelts such as from flying squirrels, sewn together; the cloaks were used as a garment to cover the back and shoulders, as a blanket, and as a sling for carrying infants.
