Scope note
Reactions and interactions of an individual or groups of individuals with relation to the immediate surrounding area including the animate or inanimate objects within that area. Perception of the environment induces certain actions, for instance, self-motions of the agent. In turn, this behavior leads to a changed perception, e.g. a novel view of the environment.
