Scope note
A shape composed of two convex sections and a central concave section, for example with furniture pieces the fronts of which curve inward between outcurved ends and the center. Named for its resemblance to the bow-shaped piece of wood forming a collar for a yoked ox, with the upper ends fastened to the yoke.
