Ceremonial social dance performed by unmarried Hopi women and their male clan relatives. Dances are sponsored by families or indivduals, celebrating life cycles and the place of women in Hopi society. As part of the dance, female dancers wear large wooden headdresses, or kopatsoki, and decorated mantas.
