Copies of works in any media, generally in the same media and of the same scale as the original, that have been authorized for production by the owner or creator. An example of authorized copies of visual works include accurate copies of paintings in art museums that were created as souvenirs for visitors, particularly popular in the 18th and 19th centuries; such paintings may be stamped on the back of the canvas with a seal of authorized copy with the museum's name.
