Scope note
A 3D imaging and laser scanning technique which records millions of 3D points when a laser beam is swept over a scene or object. These measurements can be imported into CAD or 3D application and displayed on a monitor as a “point cloud” with photographic qualities portrayed in one-color, gray-scale, false-color or true color. The files can be viewed, measured and analyzed as 3D models.
