Scope note
Ecological monitoring of air, water, land to infer quality of an environment and to evaluate the impact of factors such as pollution and other potentially harmful effects of human activity. In a preventive conservation and conservation of cultural heritage context this includes the measuring, recording, and interpretation of relative humidity (RH), temperature, ultraviolet and visible light levels, pests, and both gaseous and particulate pollutants.
