Medals having a religious or devotional subject, found in Christian and other religious contexts; often having a loop to allow the medal to be worn on a necklace or otherwise attached to clothing. To specifically distinguish small medals without a loop, intended to be carried in a pocket or pouch, use "devotional tokens."
