Scope note
Cultures and styles of the Truku people lived in Taiwan. The Truku people primarily reside in the Xiulin Township and Wanrong Township in Hualien County. It used to be perceived as identical to the Atayal people because of the kinship between their language and culture. However, considerable difference exists in these fields, leading up to Truku’s official recognition in 2004.
