Scope note
A fine grade of green-glazed Yue ware produced in China’s Zhejiang province during the late Tang and Five Dynasties (ca. 755-960 CE). Mi se, or “secret color,” refers to a type of stoneware representing the apex of the Yue kilns’ production.
