Candlesticks designed for the paschal candle. Pascal candlesticks are typically conspicuous and decorative features of the Easter celebration. They may be made of a variety of materials, including metal, wood, or stone; the candlesticks themselves may be of such large and substantial design that they form permanent adjuncts of the ambo or pulpit, rather than being brought out only for the Easter season (although the candlestick would be without the candle outside the Easter season).
