Mechanized devices, comprising a series rollers and gears/ blades, designed to produce uniform and precise folds in fabric. Once fed into the device, the fabric is first folded and pressed in a controlled manner using pressure from the gears or blades. The resulting pleats are then typically fixed in place by heat exposure as the fabric passes through a set of rollers.
