Dutch lace
- Scope note
- A type of symmetric, thick and sturdy bobbin lace with very dense motifs. It was made in the 17th century in Flanders to be sold on the Dutch market. It is sometimes referred to as "Brabant lace" but is not to be mistaken with the lace made in Brussels from the 18th century onwards.
