Hajji Muhammed

- Refers to the phase in the Ubaid period in southern Mesopotamia from about 5200 to 4800 BCE. This phase is named after a distinctive type of pottery found at the site of Hajji Muhammed, which was usually painted with dense patterns creating dark zones on the light buff pottery.
