Palace style (Minoan pottery style)

- A style of later Bronze Age pottery that developed after ca. 1450 BCE at Knossos, Crete. It is characterized by new shapes of vases introduced from the mainland and by decoration that is dark-on-light with motifs that derive from the Floral and Marine styles.
