Tools used in screen printing consisting of a firm but flexible blade set directly into a straight-edged grip, traditionally of wood, used to force paint or ink through a screen onto a support. For similar implements used as cleaning tools, usually with handles perpendicular to a thinner blade, use "squeegees."
