Scope note
Lamps equipped with containers for calcium carbide, a reservoir of water with a controlled drip, and a nozzle or burner for the combustion of the acetylene gas produced by bringing the water into contact with the calcium carbide; also lamps with acetylene burners connected to a central source of acetylene.
