Scope note
Thin-walled slipware vessels characterized by small rolled rims and molded decoration on the outside surface. Made from the late first century BCE until the early first century CE. These are named for the craftsman who signed his goods with “Aco”. Cups of the same shape without the Aco signature are also referred to as Aco cups.
