- Fishing vessels with covered hulls and upswept prows that are fitted with mizzen-masts and mainsails with a boom and lowering gaff. These were used in the South Holland islands in the 18th and 19th centuries. The hull was covered to provide for a livewell for keeping live fish and bait.
