Scope note
Wall assemblies or segments of walls for buildings that resist high temperatures and limit the spread of flames. These follow code to resist flames for specific amounts of time, and are constructed using materials that have high fire resistance made to withstand extremely high temperatures without combusting, and feature construction details that limit air exchange and other factors.
