Chapman sticks

- Fretted electric stringed instruments based on the same principle as the electric guitar, invented by Emmett Chapman in the early 1970s. It is most commonly strung with 10 to 12 strings and is played by tapping and fretting the strings instead of plucking. There are many variations of the instrument, including bass models.
