Scope note
Sikh places of worship and community gathering that may include a dining hall, medical facilities, a library, nursery, classroom, meeting rooms, and recreation areas. Gurudwaras are open to people of all faiths and religions.the name; the term literally translates to "door to the guru" or "gateway to the guru," in Punjabi. It is the site of a copy of the Adi Granth (“First Volume”), of the sacred scripture of Sikhism.
