Trademarked commercial name for a synthetic thermal plastic resin that does not embrittle or discolor over time, having a liquid density of 8.3 pounds per gallon, a flash point of 60 degrees Fahrenheit, and a viscosity of 3700-6200 cps. It is widely used in conservation treatments, and in clear and pigmented coatings, aerosols, printing inks, product finishes, and specification lacquers.
