A nonwoven, low melt synthetic polyester, manufactured by Wonderflex, that softens and shrinks when heated, transforming into a rigid 3-D structure upon cooling that can be cut and sewn. In conservation, it has been used for constructing mannequins and mounts for textiles, costumes, and other objects.
