Scope note:

A plasma-based technique primarily used for local pre-treatment of different surfaces. With atmospheric plasma technology, gas is excited by means of a high voltage underatmospheric pressure, such that a plasma is ignited. The plasma is expelled by compressed air from the nozzle. The treatment performance can be affected in different ways by varying the process parameters such as treatment speed and distance from the substrate surface.
