Scope note:

Cultures and styles of the Atayal people lived in Taiwan. The Atayal people live primarily in the mountains of northern Taiwan, ranging from New Taipei City, Taoyuan City, Hsinchu County, Miaoli County, Nantou County and Nantou City. Though systematic and regional variations are found in different tribes, the concept and practice of gaga and rutux unify the Atayal people as a whole.
