Scope note:

Hand tools principally used for holding, bending, and cutting thin materials or small gage wire. These vary in size. The jaws are hollow on one side opposite the cutting edges, in addition to having a flat, serrated tip or nose that can be used as a grip or to twist wire ends into a splice.
