Mechanized devices that utilize electrostatic applicators to adhere small fibers, or flocks, to a fabric's surface in order to create a soft, velvet-like finish. These devices facilitate the flocking process by electrically charging the flock particles causing them to attach to the fabric surface in an upright position, and then propelling and anchoring the particles into the adhesive at right angles. Through this process, these devices ensure that the flock application is both durable and permanent.
