Specifically, these devices carry out a textile finishing process that prepares materials for the market by laying their warp and woof yarns in parallel poisitions. The machines typically comprise a series of large rubber-covered stretching pulleys mounted on a driving shaft, a traveling belt, and two pairs of corrugated wheels. As fabric is fed into the device, it is held under the pulleys by the pressure of a traveling belt acting against the lower half of each pulley; when the wheels move the pulleys, the fabric is likewise pulled to achieve to the user's desired width. ]]></dc:description></metadata>
