They often included a booklet with a brief version of the play. Appearing first in the early 19th century in London, they typically mimicked contemporary melodrama popular in the standard theaters. They were produced primarily in England and Germany throughout the 19th and into the 20th century, and are still produced today in small numbers. For portable performing arts structures designed for the presentation of puppet shows, see "puppet theaters." For three-dimensional representations of theater buildings or of theater spaces such as stage and proscenium, whther used in performances or simply as models, see "miniature theaters."</skos:scopeNote><skos:inScheme rdf:resource="http://AATesaurus.cultura.gencat.cat/aat/getty_en"/><skos:related rdf:resource="http://AATesaurus.cultura.gencat.cat/aat/getty_en?tema=31326604"/><skos:related rdf:resource="http://AATesaurus.cultura.gencat.cat/aat/getty_en?tema=31381347"/><skos:broader rdf:resource="http://AATesaurus.cultura.gencat.cat/aat/getty_en?tema=31417477"/><skos:broader rdf:resource="http://AATesaurus.cultura.gencat.cat/aat/getty_en?tema=31325493"/><skos:exactMatch> <skos:Concept rdf:about="http://AATesaurus.cultura.gencat.cat/aat/getty_ca/index.php?tema=9842255"> <skos:prefLabel xml:lang="ca">teatre de joguina</skos:prefLabel> </skos:Concept></skos:exactMatch><skos:exactMatch> <skos:Concept rdf:about="http://AATesaurus.cultura.gencat.cat/aat/getty_es/index.php?tema=14078207"> <skos:prefLabel xml:lang="es">teatro de juguetes</skos:prefLabel> </skos:Concept></skos:exactMatch> <dct:created>2026-03-30 20:36:25</dct:created> </skos:Concept></rdf:RDF>
