Visual works, or parts of works, where the image or design is made from pieces of veneer, which comprises thin sheets of decorative material such as wood, ivory, tortoiseshell or brass. Usually found on furniture, wall paneling, and other interior locations. For more complex and sophisticated designs created from veneer, prefer "marquetry (visual work)."
