Describes the style and culture of the inhabitants of Kiribati Island. Most of the artwork created by the people of the Republic of Kiribati consists of patterns woven into the pandanus-leaf matting. The production of this work is used for sails, clothing, baskets, sitting mats, and sleeping mats.
