Scope note:

A soft, waterproof filler and sealer composed of acrylic polymers, water, latex, and fillers, used in construction and repairs to seal joints or fill crevices where leakage or structural movement may occur. It adheres well to wood, masonry and drywall and is water-soluble before setting. It may be painted over, but degrades quickly in sunlight and in places where there are extreme temperature shifts.
