Refers to the art and architecture that coincided with the reign of Sultan Ibrahim, who ruled from 1640 to 1648. His best-known monument is the elegant, gilded, cupola-like 'bower' on the terrace of the Topkapi Palace. Ibrahim was a violent ruler who was assassinated in 1648.
