Scope note:

A ball sport invented in Holland ca.1901 with similarities to netball and basketball. Intended as a mixed-gender sport, two teams of 8 members must field four female and four male players. The objective is to throw a ball through a bottomless basket that is mounted on a 3.5 m (11.5 feet) high pole. Players are allowed to run only when they are not in possession of the ball.
