Scope note:

A type of Jacobite glass produced to commemorate the rising of 1715. Amen glasses are decorated with diamond point engraved prayers ending with "Amen," thus their name. They also feature the elaborately scrolled letters "I.R." with a concealed figure of eight and a crown.
