Drawings using ink as the primary medium and pen as the primary implement, usually on paper but may be on another support. Such drawings have a distinctive, linear appearance. For drawings that use pen and ink as well as washes, prefer "pen and wash drawings." For drawings or paintings using ink applied with brushes, use "ink wash paintings."
