Mechanized devices designed to pass fabrics through either one or two sandpaper-covered or emery rollers in order to raise the short fibers on the fabric's surface, thus producing a soft nap finish on the fabric similiar to suede. Factors dictating the sueding process, including the speed and direction of the rollers, coarseness of the sandpaper, and pressure between the fabric and the rollers, can be individually manipulated using this device to precisely determine the appearance and feel of the fabric's suede finish.
