Paper-thin golden diadems of various shapes worn by elite Nahua men and women in postclassic central Mexico. They also adorned the mortuary bundles of tlahtohqueh (rulers). They are mentioned among the golden items melted down by the Spanish during the invasion of Tenochtitlan.
