Scope note:

Wood of the species Heritiera javanica, native to West Africa, Thailand, and most notably the Philippines. The sapwood is pale yellowish-red with a light red to reddish-brown heartwood. It is used in the construction of cabinets, flooring, doors, boat ribs, and planking.
