Scope note:

Bottles or other glass vessels having the neck divided into two or more tubes, causing them to make a gurgling noise when poured. The type has Roman antecedents; it was notably produced by German glassworkers in the later Middle Ages, and among Venetian and façon de Venise glasses of the 16th and 17th centuries.
