Scope note:

Refers to the style and culture of the Sinixt, an indigenous First Nations people in eastern Washington state and British Columbia. The Sinixt primarily live on the Colville Indian Reservation and are part of the Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation. However, the Sinixt state that they were driven to the Colville Reservation from their indigenous lands in British Columbia. In 2017, the government of Canada officially recognized the tribe.
